I don't really have a favorite style or know much about interior design; is hiring an interior designer a good idea?
We know interior design, with its many terms and styles, can feel overwhelming to someone outside the field. Don’t worry; we help extract your preferences using simple prompts and conversational tools. We’ll help build a framework of what you like in terms of textures, shapes, finishes, and colors. Your answers give us the information we need to translate these things into a cohesive design.

I want to remodel my home; should I hire an architect or an interior design firm in Salt Lake City?
If your remodel involves changing structural load-bearing walls or adding square footage, you should bring a residential architect and/or structural engineer onto the project. They’ll make sure your remodel is structurally sound and will be able to maximize your space as much as possible.
For smaller remodel precuts, an interior designer is often all you need. Our Salt Lake interior designers can help you create new plans for how to use the remodeled space and will assist you in selecting finishes such as flooring, paint color, wallpaper, lighting, window treatments, cabinetry, and more.
What should I do ahead of my initial consultation with a Salt Lake City interior designer?
We always suggest compiling some inspirational images, or photos from magazines, Pinterest, or other sources. These should be images of colors, textures, furnishings, room layouts, or really anything design-specific that you like — or dislike!
These are incredibly valuable to us as we create a design. By having visual examples of things you’re drawn to, we can make sure we’re reflecting similar elements in your own home or business’s design.
You should also have an idea of your budget: how much money can you allocate for this project? This helps us scale our project to fit your expectations. A total number is all you need. We’ll help you understand how to best allocate it to different areas within the project, such as furnishings, home updates, etc.
